If you’ve stayed with us before, you’ll know that we’ve always taken great pride in going the extra mile to ensure that every single one of our guests enjoys the perfect stay, no matter what their needs or tastes.
As such, we’ve always taken great care to offer dishes designed to suit a wide variety of dietary requirements, from gluten free and nut free options to vegetarian and vegan dishes, all lovingly prepared in-house by Chef Mclachlan and his talented team.
These vegan options in particular have proven to be such a hit with both hotel guests and visitors alike that we’ve been inundated with requests for even more palate-pleasing, plant-based cuisine.

Fabulous Flavours Inspired by the Beauty of the Highlands
Created using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients, Chef Mclachlan has created a menu full of tantalising dishes that take their inspiration directly from the idyllic beauty surrounding our hotel in Perthshire.
Take our Heritage Cabbage and Royal Apple Lasagne, for example.
Crispy kohlrabi, poached sous vide with a red cabbage oil, married with a pink lady savoury compote that blends delectable sweetness together with a tangy kick creates a dish whose exotic array of colours and textures so perfectly encapsulates the rich tapestry of Perthshire’s captivating highland scenery.
Or how about our hearty vegetable casserole?
Bringing together all the freshness and invigorating flavours of your favourite vegetables and preparing them with a certain kind of tender, loving care that simply can’t be taught, Edina’s vegetable casserole serves as the perfect reflection of the warmth, the cosiness, and the traditional Scottish values that are very hallmarks of our Pitlochry hotel.
Accompanied by soft, fluffy Persian rice, this popular dish is perfect as a winter warmer, or as a satisfying main meal at any time of the year.

Elsewhere, our Stuffed Peppers, complete with Basil and Tomato Medley and our Butternut Squash Risotto, served with a garnish of Fresh Rocket are every bit as filling as they are fantastically delicious.

Edina’s is open from eight till late, seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a variety of light bites throughout the day.
