We may all be enjoying the height of summer right now, but with Christmas just five months away, it won’t be long before some 14 million people set off on their annual festive getaway.
This year, as with every year, a number of those seasonal travellers will be making their way to the romantic, snow-covered surroundings of Highland Scotland to join us here at the multi-award winning Dunalastair Hotel Suites for our annual Christmas break package.
The presents are under the tree, the world-class chefs at Monadh Dining are making preparations for our five-course festive dinner, and there’s an air of peace and goodwill moving gently throughout our hotel.

With Summer only just behind us, it may be hard to believe that Christmas is only just around the corner. Yet here we are already, approaching just three months before Old Saint Nick comes shuffling down the chimney to bring good tidings and joy to all.

It doesn’t seem like five minutes since we were polishing off the last of the turkey and singing our way through a spirited performance of Auld Lang Syne, and yet here we are again. The Christmas tree is going up in the reception area of our five-star hotel in Scotland, traditional yuletide carols ring out wherever we go, and as we look outside, we can see the first of the snow falling gently across the majestic Schiehallion Mountain.
