Perthshire Amber Festival

A unique celebration of the Perthshire Highlands featuring world class music, art, and entertainment

What is it?

Described as one of Scotland’s most unique festivals, and a jewel in the crown of the country’s vast cultural heritage, the annual Perthshire Amber Festival brings together renowned musicians from across Scotland, the UK, and internationally.

Organised by acclaimed songwriter and performer Dougie Maclean (described by the Wall Street Journal as a ‘Musical Hero’), the annual event celebrates the vast cultural heritage of the Scottish Highlands in a series of concerts and events, all hosted by some of Perthshire most magnificent venues.

Condensed for into a four-day festival featuring music by some high calibre guests from Scotland and abroad, it is sure to serve as a highlight of your break in Scotland.  Alongside the music, the Perthshire Amber Festival also features guided walks, workshops, an autumn picnic, open mic sessions, storytelling performances, and a host of family-friendly activities, many free of charge.
