Open daily from 8 ‘til late, our own Monadh Dining welcomes local residents, holidaymakers and those of you making the most of your day out in the Highlands to join us for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Heading out on a Highland adventure? Don’t leave on an empty stomach.

Monadh Dining specially created traditional toasted muffin breakfast is as full of flavour as it is protein, making it the perfect choice for those of you needing to up your energy reserves before heading out on a long hike around Loch Rannoch.

Along with your choice of scrambled or soft poached egg, you’ll be treated to the finest Scottish smoked salmon and freshly cooked spinnach, all finished with a delicious Hollandaise sauce.

Prefer something a little lighter? Our chefs have sourced only the best local ingredients to create our unique “Scottish Morning,” a wholly satisfying traditional roll with your choice of either beef, sausage, or vegetarian filling, along with Scotland’s famous totty scone and egg.

Feeling peckish?

Monadh Dining at the Dunalastair Hotel Suites is well stocked with a wide variety of light bites available right throughout the day.

Join us for a tea or coffee and spoil yourself with a pastry, chocolate brownie, or flavoured muffin, all whilst gazing out across Kinloch Rannoch breathtaking scenery.

Alternatively, why not experience something a little different with one of our continental deli boards, featuring a variety of meats, breads, olives, and hummus?

Lunch

Lunch time is when our chefs create a host of appetising hot and cold sandwiches, all served with lovingly prepared, hand cooked crisps.

The smoked Scottish salmon has so far proven a firm hit with guests at our boutique Perthshire hotel, whilst the Open toasted sourdough sandwich, topped with mouthwatering mushrooms and a delightful crème fresh also comes highly recommended.

Again, those of you in the mood for something a little lighter are also well catered for, with an array of healthy yet heartening salads.

Afternoon tea

Making the most of your holiday in Scotland means really taking the time to indulge yourself, and what better way to do that than with the classic afternoon tea?

Our team have combined Britain’s best loved afternoon treats to come up with not one, but two truly scrumptious tea time options.

The Loch View offers an assortment of fresh sandwiches, along with fruit or traditional scones, jams, and clotted creams, the essential ingredients for a wonderfully indulgent afternoon.

You’ll also enjoy fancies and macaroons with your choice from our variety of tea options.

Meanwhile, those of you with a sweet tooth will find yourselves enamoured with our ‘Courtyard cream tea, which also includes fruit, scones, and heavenly clotted cream.

Finally, we come to the pièce de résistance of our entire menu.

For only £35, you can treat yourself to an exquisite, three-course dining experience perfectly in keeping with the lavish luxury of your hotel suite.

Those of you looking for a true taste of authentic Highland cuisine may want to start with the Scottish scallops, complete with a delectable maple, parsnip, and parsley finish.

From there, the succulent poached fillet of locally sourced sea trout, served with lemon, courgette and basil makes an ideal main course, all rounded off with our own Dunalastair lemon meringue pie.

As an alternative, our recent guests have also highly recommended the cauliflower panna cotta, followed by a superb Potato Gnocchi with chard shallots, parmesan and purple broccoli, finishing with a dreamy brown sugar brûlée with roasted grapefruit and yogurt.
