With the final finishing touches about to be added to our multi-million pound renovation project, the Dunalastair Hotel Suites in Loch Rannoch are thrilled to announce that our grand opening is now set to take place on April 10th 2017, in perfect time for spring in the Highlands.
For those of you keeping score at home, that’s a little less than four months away, approximately 15 weeks, or 108 days.
Yes, we understand that may still feel like a long time for some of you, especially if you’ve eagerly been awaiting the day you can enjoy your next Scottish break at our luxury boutique hotel.
The good news, is that you don’t have to wait that long to see for yourself the results of our year-long makeover.

Beautiful Honeymoon Suite Ready for Your Dream Scottish Honeymoon
With our hotel renovation team referring to the brand-new Honeymoon suite as the pièce de résistance of the entire project, it may not come as much of a surprise to learn that we really have spared no expense when it comes to making this particular suite perfect for luxury honeymoons in Scotland.
As you’ll see from our images, every last detail has been lovingly upgraded using only the finest quality materials, with the elegantly designed decor, opulent luxury bathroom and awe-inspiring views the perfect venue for your romantic honeymoon.
A Choice of Five Luxury Hotel Suites for All Types of Scottish Break
Honeymoons aren’t the only reason to enjoy a romantic Scottish break with us in the New Year. Outside of our Bridal Suite, we’ve invested heavily in transforming our boutique hotel suites to offer several stylish options for those last-minute getaways, wedding anniversary breaks and other special occasions.
Part of the work in transforming our hotel also involved redesigning the layout of several larger suites to offer spacious, luxury Scottish hotel accommodation for groups and families.
As you journey from suite to suite, you’ll notice that, whilst each room feels unique, there’s a certain sense of consistency to our new design, with soft, muted colours used throughout the suites, hallways and public spaces designed to really make you feel right at home.
Dine Out or Stay In with the New Look Monadh Dining
Next on our guided tour, we step out of the boutique hotel suites altogether and journey out, towards our brand new Monadh Dining. Following our grand opening on April 10th, 2017, this particular part of the Dunalastair Hotel Suites will be open daily from 8am until 8pm serving a delicious array of breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes.
We’re also planning to ensure that guests can enjoy evening room service, with food freshly prepared by our Monadh Dining chefs and delivered direct to your door. Whilst we’re still working on that however, those of you considering dining out with us will see already that work on the Monadh Dining renovation is almost complete.
The new state-of-the-art kitchen equipment has been installed, the dining area has been lovingly redecorated to combine a modern ambiance with a traditional Scottish feel and somewhere behind closed doors our chefs are already working with local suppliers to plan next year’s menu.
Final Finishing Touches Being Added as we Speak
All these, and many other finishing touches, are literally taking place right now as we write today‘s blog. Indeed, as we look beyond our window here at the Dunalastair Hotel Suites, we see a host of busy professionals touching up the new paintwork, bringing in brand new, contemporary-style furniture, and ensuring that no single detail has gone unnoticed by our team.
