The safety and wellbeing of our valued guests, our wonderful staff and our community here in Kinloch Rannoch continues to be our first priority. While we’ve always been meticulous when it comes to cleaning and housekeeping, we’ve introduced a number of additional measures, some of which you may notice, though most are very discrete. These have been carefully considered; primarily for your safety but also, importantly, to ensure your enjoyment isn’t in any way compromised.
Subtle changes you may notice:
Hand sanitiser in each of our suites
Faster check-in times reduced from our usual 90 seconds to 60 seconds. An express check out facility; these changes are implemented in order to reduce any unnecessary gatherings
You’ll be asked to reserve a table for breakfast, just as you might do for an evening meal. This is designed to ensure safe distancing
You’ll now be served by our waiting staff at our breakfast buffet stations rather than the self-serving facility we previously offered
Our restaurant Monadh is now open until 10 pm in line with the latest Covid-19 measures announced by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
From St. Andrews to Prestwick, Gullane and, naturally, the exceptional 18-hole course here in Pitlochry, you rarely have to go far in Scotland without discovering some of the finest golf courses in the world.
So it’s no wonder then that, over the years, the country has produced more than its fair share of the sport’s biggest heroes.
From the historic Scottish Open to the prestigious European Championships, Scotland’s wealth of world-class golf courses have long served as the ideal setting for some of the sport’s most illustrious competitions.
Year after year, top calibre professionals make their way to the likes of St. Andrews and Dundonald to pit the skills against the best in the game, though that doesn’t mean you need to be an elite PGA Pro to compete on one of Scotland’s best courses.
The Perthshire Highlands are famous for many things, not least of which our truly remarkable views and iconic landmarks. Did you know, however, that we’re just as famous for our roles in some of the biggest blockbusters to hit cinema screens?
From classic comedies to modern adventures, several top locations close to your Pitlochry hotel have been chosen to star in well-known movies thanks to the very things that made the region famous in the first place:
Beautiful scenery, traditional Scottish hospitality, and an abundance of ancient history at every turn.
Last month, we told you all about the Marie Curie Etape Caledonia, the epic closed road cycling event which starts and ends close to our hotel in Pitlochry, before taking riders on an 81 mile journey through some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery.
Since then, we’ve spoken to scores of you about this year’s event, sharing in your excitement about what is widely regarded as one of the most challenging and exhilarating events of its type anywhere in the United Kingdom.
