Highland Exploration

Based in beautiful Kinloch Rannoch in Perthshire, Highland Exploration offers boat tours of the stunning Loch Rannoch which is shadowed by the legendary Munro ‘Schiehallion’ meaning ‘the fairy hill’ in Gaelic.

Their Land Rover safaris (running both day time and evening) will allow you to witness the stunning and rugged landscape of Rannoch Moor, gaining access to some of the private estates. You may also see some of the famous Scottish wildlife along the way such as red deer and golden eagles, while witnesses the beautiful scenery.

Land Rover Tours

The local area is a beguiling mix of mountain vistas, dense forests, heather-rich moors and one of Scotland’s most majestic lochs. See all of this from the comfort of your very own Land Rover, in the company of family and friends – and their friendly local guide who’ll tell you stories of Rannoch past and present.

From September, Highland Exploration will be running tours from £30 per person for adults and £25 per child under 10, based on six people sharing on a two hour trip. Pick up and drop off from the hotel can be arranged as well as private trips for couples or families tailored to your wishes – prices available on request.

Fishing & Guided walks

Highland Exploration also offer fishing packages tailored to each individual or group depending on experience, equipment required, and type of fishing desired.

They also run guided walks for all ages and abilities on a range different terrain, ranging from 1 hour to a whole day.
